Tashkent: Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev met Wednesday with the visiting Omani Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef. The meeting emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries and developing the partnership based on mutual respect and a unified future vision.

According to Qatar News Agency, this visit coincides with the 5th session of the Omani-Uzbek Joint Committee for Trade and Economic Cooperation. The delegation is also involved in holding roundtable meetings with the Uzbek side and participating in the 4th Tashkent International Investment Forum.

The discussions between President Mirziyoyev and Minister Al Yousef are expected to pave the way for enhanced economic cooperation and investment opportunities.
