Doha: Umm Salal coach Patrice Carteron emphasized the challenges his team will face in their upcoming Doha Bank Stars League Week 11 match against Al Ahli, highlighting the need to play with full strength to improve their standing.

According to Qatar News Agency, Carteron expressed his respect for Al Ahli, acknowledging their recent performances in the AFC Champions League. He stated, "It will be tough and challenging. I have great respect for the opponents, who recently delivered outstanding performances especially in the AFC Champions League." He further mentioned the quality and strong position of Al Ahli, which has been bolstered by their impressive performance in AFC Champions League Two. Despite the formidable opposition, Carteron emphasized that Umm Salal's primary focus is on themselves. "Our goal is to improve our position in the standings, maintain the fighting spirit within the team and work on protecting our goal and not losing this spirit," Carteron added.

On the other side, Al Ahli's assistant coach Bruno Oliveira highlighted the significance of maintaining their good form and positive results in the league. He acknowledged the technical strength of Umm Salal, particularly noting their organized defense, midfield, and attack. Oliveira said, "We have prepared well for the Umm Salal match and all players are eager to deliver a strong performance." He also mentioned their collaborative efforts with coach Younes Ali to enhance the team's attacking and organizational skills to align with the club's ambitions, ensuring effective performances.
