Doha: A drone was intercepted and destroyed in recent hours, as reported by the Ministry of Defense on Wednesday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the statement was made by Major General Staff Turki Al Maliki, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense. The announcement comes in the wake of heightened security measures in the region.

The ministry had also announced the previous night that two drones were intercepted and destroyed, indicating ongoing efforts to enhance national security and protect critical infrastructure.
