Ankara: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan discussed the latest developments in the war in the region and the Palestinian issue in a telephone call today with his Egyptian counterpart Badr AbdelAtty.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the call, both sides stressed the need to reduce tensions and avoid the region sliding into broader confrontations. They affirmed their rejection of violations of states' sovereignty and security and prioritized the diplomatic path.
