Riyadh: Saudi Arabia and Lebanon underscored the importance of enhancing Arab action and coordinating postures toward critical issues on the regional and global stages.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a joint statement following the conclusion of Lebanese President Joseph Aoun's visit to Saudi Arabia, both sides emphasized the importance of the full implementation of the Taif Agreement and relevant international resolutions. This includes ensuring the assertion of sovereignty over all Lebanese territories and confining weapons to the Lebanese state.

They stressed the national role of the Lebanese Army and the importance of supporting it, alongside the necessity for the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from all Lebanese territories.

The two parties agreed to examine the challenges hindering the resumption of exports from Lebanon to Saudi Arabia and discussed taking essential measures to facilitate travel for Saudi citizens to Lebanon.

They highlighted the importance of revitalizing the Lebanese economy and overcoming its current crisis. Furthermore, they agreed on the need to initiate internationally required reforms in accordance with the principles of transparency and enforcement of binding laws.
