Lebanon’s President Calls for Israeli Withdrawal from Lebanon, Occupied Palestinian Territories

Lebanon: Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun stressed that he would not give up any inch of Lebanon's internationally recognized borders, emphasizing that there would be no peace without liberating the last of his country's lands.

According to Qatar News Agency, in his speech during the Extraordinary Arab Summit on the Palestinian issue in Cairo on Tuesday, Aoun said that in Lebanon, as is the case in Palestine, there is still land occupied by the Israeli entity in light of its continued daily aggression, calling for a complete Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon's lands and the occupied Palestinian territories.

He stressed that there is no peace without restoring the legitimate and full rights of the Palestinians, which is what the Arab countries pledged since the Beirut Peace Initiative in 2002, until the Riyadh Declaration in November, calling for continued support for the Palestinian people and their choices and decisions.
