Russia: Russia's Defense Ministry said Wednesday that its air defense systems intercepted 22 Ukrainian drones overnight.
According to Qatar News Agency, the ministry reported that all of the drones were destroyed. Eight were shot down over the Rostov region, four over Stavropol, four over Oryol, three over Bryansk, two over Tula, and one each over Kaluga and the Moscow region.
Drone attacks by both sides have become routine in the conflict, which began on Feb. 24, 2022. The war remains far from a political resolution, with Moscow insisting it will continue its military operation in Ukraine until its objectives are achieved.
