Doha: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced Saturday that Ukrainian troops sustained over 175 casualties along the Kursk axis over the past 24 hours due to ongoing military operations.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry added that Russian forces had succeeded in repelling several Ukrainian attacks in this axis, in addition to destroying military vehicles and equipment of the Ukrainian army.

In August 2024, Ukrainian forces launched a surprise attack in Kursk and are still stationing in part of this axis.

Last month, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its troops had succeeded in recapturing 29 towns in Kursk from March 8 to 14, 2025.
