Doha: The Muslim World League condemned the closure orders issued by the Israeli occupation authorities against six schools affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in occupied Jerusalem. The League described the move as part of a systematic campaign of political and military violations targeting UN bodies, humanitarian organizations, and resolutions related to the rights of Palestinian people.
According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement, the League's General Secretariat reaffirmed its support and solidarity with UNRWA in its humanitarian mission to assist the Palestinian people. It called for concerted efforts by all countries, organizations, and nations to stand against the ongoing Israeli brutality and violations of international and humanitarian laws and norms.
The League stressed that every conscience around the world is calling for an end to Israeli government's war machine and enforcement of international and humanitarian law in the face of the brutal acts of genocide being committed against Palestinian civilians in full view of the international community.
