Qatar Highlights Its Approach to Inclusive Social Development at UN Event

New york: The State of Qatar presented its approach to inclusive social development during a side event titled "Towards Inclusive Social Development within the Framework of Social Justice," organized by the General Secretariat of the Arab League alongside the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Arab Republic of Egypt, at United Nations Headquarters.

According to Qatar News Agency, HE Assistant Undersecretary for Family Affairs at the Ministry of Social Development and Family, Sheikha Shaikha bint Jassim Al-Thani, emphasized that social development based on social justice is essential for building a sustainable future. She referenced the Doha Political Declaration from the Second World Summit for Social Development as a key international document that highlights commitments to inclusiveness, equality, and non-discrimination, focusing particularly on families and vulnerable groups.

Her Excellency elaborated on Qatar's innovative experience in social protection and justice, detailing an integrated system designed to empower individuals, address multidimensional poverty, and support social cohesion to ensure no one is left behind.
