Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met Wednesday with HE United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk, currently visiting the country. During the meeting, they discussed the cooperation relations between the State of Qatar and the United Nations, in addition to a number of issues of common interest.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions emphasized the importance of strengthening the partnership between Qatar and the United Nations in promoting human rights initiatives. The meeting highlighted ongoing efforts and explored avenues for further collaboration on international human rights issues.
