Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met on Tuesday with Commander of US Central Command (CENTCOM) Admiral Charles Bradford Cooper, who is currently visiting the country. The meeting focused on discussing the close strategic relations between the State of Qatar and the United States.

According to Qatar News Agency, the leaders explored ways to support and strengthen military and defense cooperation between the two nations. The discussions also covered a number of topics of common interest, highlighting the importance of continued collaboration in various sectors.
