New york: HE President of the Transitional Presidential Council of the Republic of Haiti, Anthony Frank Laurent Saint-Cyr, engaged in discussions with HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions focused on the cooperation relations between Haiti and Qatar, exploring ways to support and enhance these relations. The meeting also touched upon several issues of common interest between the two nations.

HE the President of the Transitional Presidential Council of Haiti acknowledged the significant role of the State of Qatar in mediation efforts. He highlighted Qatar's contributions to promoting stability, notably in Latin America, where Qatar has emerged as a reliable entity in resolving regional and international conflicts.
