Pakistan, Iran Hold 13th Round of Political Consultations

Doha: Pakistan and Iran held the 13th round of political consultations on Monday. The Pakistani delegation was led by Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch, while the Iranian side was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Majid Takht-Ravanchi.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions covered bilateral relations and reviewed progress on decisions made during previous consultations. Both countries agreed to expand and diversify bilateral trade and enhance cooperation in the energy sector. Additionally, the delegations exchanged views on regional and international developments, aiming to strengthen mutual understanding and collaboration.
