Israel Conducts Fresh Incursion into Quneitra, Southern Syria

Doha: The Israeli occupying forces thrust deeper into Quneitra Governorate in southern Syria in a second intrusion Monday and erected a military barricade on the road connecting the village of Samadanieh Al Sharqiyeh and the town of Khan Arnabah, the Syrian News Agency reported.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Israeli forces used two four-wheel-drive vehicles prior to their pullout, with three Israeli military vehicles forcing their way into the village of Abu Madrah in Quneitra Governorate, setting up an interim checkpoint, and engaging in vetting passersby and nearby agricultural lands before withdrawing.

These Syrian areas repeatedly come under Israeli assaults, with the Israeli occupation constantly unleashing attacks on Syrian soil in violation of the 1974 Disengagement of Forces Agreement, international law, and UN resolutions.
