Gdynia: The Ministry of Interior participated in the graduation ceremony of the fourth batch of officer candidates sent by the Ministry to study at the Polish Maritime Academy. The ceremony was held at the academy's headquarters in Gdynia.
According to Qatar News Agency, the ceremony was attended by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Poland, Saud bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud, along with a delegation from the Ministry of Interior. The delegation was led by Director of the Human Resources Department, Major General Khalifa Nasr Al Nasr, and included the Assistant Director General of Coasts and Borders Security, Colonel Abdulaziz Ali Al Mohannadi, as well as several Ministry officers.
During the ceremony, graduates who had successfully fulfilled the academic and practical requirements for a Bachelor's degree in Maritime Sciences were awarded their certificates. The rigorous four-year program included specialized training in maritime navigation, radar operations, and marine engineering.
Qatari student Abdullah Khalid Shams, one of the Ministry's candidates, earned top honors by graduating first in his class and receiving the prestigious Sword of Honor. This accolade was in recognition of his academic excellence and outstanding performance throughout the course of his studies.
