Gaza City: Several Palestinians were martyred, while others were injured or reported missing, as Israeli bombardment continued to target various neighborhoods and areas across the Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, two people were martyred and four others injured when Israeli occupation drones struck the vicinity of the Islamic University in the Ma'an area east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. Another person was killed in a drone strike on the town of Al-Fukhari, also east of Khan Younis. Medical sources confirmed the death of a child who succumbed to injuries sustained in an earlier strike on a vehicle in the same town.
Five Palestinians, including a child, a young woman, and a pregnant woman, were injured when Israeli occupation forces shelled a displacement tent near Tayba Towers west of Gaza City. Additional injuries were reported following helicopter strikes on another tent sheltering displaced civilians near Shuhada al-Aqsa Hospital (Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital) in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza.
An Israeli airstrike on a home east of Jabalia in northern Gaza left several Palestinians injured and others missing under the rubble, with rescue teams struggling to reach the site. Israeli forces continue to bombard and demolish homes across the Strip. From last night until this morning, thousands of Palestinians were forced to flee, some leaving behind family members trapped beneath the rubble, particularly in Al-Qarara and Khuza'a areas north of Khan Younis.
Heavy artillery and airstrikes also hit Al-Mughraqa, Abu Al-Ajeen, and "Tuba 86", where loud explosions were heard from last night into the morning. In Jabalia and northern Gaza, Israeli forces reportedly used robots to destroy entire residential blocks by planting explosive devices between homes.
