Wimbledon: World No 1 Jannik Sinner defeated the seven-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic in straight sets (6-3, 6-3, 6-4) in the semi-finals of the Wimbledon Championships, the third Grand Slam tournament.
According to Qatar News Agency, Sinner's victory has qualified him for his first Wimbledon final in his professional career. He is set to face Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, the world number two, in the final scheduled for the day after tomorrow, Sunday.
At 23 years and 318 days old, the Italian tennis player has become the youngest player in the modern era to reach four consecutive Grand Slam finals, breaking Roger Federer's previous record of 24 years and 294 days.
