Israeli Forces Maintain Blockade of Ya’bad in West Bank for Tenth Day

Jenin: Israeli occupation forces continued to block the entrances to the town of Ya'bad, south of Jenin in the West Bank, for the tenth consecutive day. Palestinian sources reported that last week, the occupation forces closed off Ya'bad's entrances with earthen barriers, leaving only the main entrance accessible, and prevented residents from entering or leaving. Several families were forced to leave their homes, which were converted into military barracks.

According to Qatar News Agency, the sources added that soldiers also compelled owners of homes adjacent to those turned into barracks to evacuate, while raids and searches of other homes continue. In Tubas, a Palestinian was injured by Israeli gunfire in the Far'a refugee camp. Local sources said that the occupation forces prevented medical teams from reaching the injured person.

The forces stormed the camp with several military patrols, deploying inside after raiding the town of 'Aqaba and the city of Tubas before withdrawing toward the camp. Israeli occupation continues to escalate its operations across the West Bank, carrying out raids, arrests, and closing entrances to towns and cities.
