Yater: An Israeli drone attacked a bulldozer in the town of Yater, Bint Jbeil District, Nabatieh Governorate, in southern Lebanon, killing one person and wounding another, the Lebanese National News Agency reported, citing the Ministry of Health.
According to Qatar News Agency, a ceasefire deal entered into force in Lebanon on November 27, under which Israeli forces were to withdraw from border villages and towns in southern Lebanon within a 60-day deadline. This agreement aimed to de-escalate tensions and stabilize the region.
The Lebanese government agreed to extend the deadline until last February. Despite this agreement, the occupation army has maintained its positions at five points and continues its violations there. These violations have exceeded 4,500, according to a statement by the Lebanese military a few days ago, highlighting ongoing tensions and concerns about stability in the region.
