Israeli Airstrikes on Gaza Result in Fatalities and Injuries

Gaza city: Seven Palestinians were killed and others injured in two airstrikes launched by the Israeli occupation forces on Gaza City. Medical sources reported that four civilians lost their lives, and several others sustained injuries in an Israeli airstrike targeting a civilian car in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza City. Additionally, three individuals were killed in a separate bombing that targeted a group of residents near the Sanafour area, located east of the Tuffah neighborhood, east of the city.

According to Qatar News Agency, Israeli artillery also shelled Asdaa Prison, which serves as a shelter for displaced persons, situated northwest of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip. This incident is part of ongoing hostilities that have been occurring since October 7, 2023, as the Israeli entity continues its military operations in the region. These actions have drawn international criticism and appeals for cessation, including orders from the International Court of Justice.

The conflict has resulted in significant casualties, with more than 202,000 people reported dead or wounded, a majority of whom are children and women. Additionally, over 9,000 individuals are reported missing, alongside hundreds of thousands of displaced people. The ongoing situation has also led to a famine that has claimed numerous lives, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the region.
