Four Palestinians Injured in Israeli Raid on Nablus in West Bank

Nablus: Four Palestinians were injured by Israeli occupation forces during a raid on the city of Nablus in West Bank on Thursday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian Red Crescent stated in a press release that Israeli forces opened fire on four Palestinians during an operation that began in the early hours of dawn and lasted for ten hours, affecting several neighborhoods across the city.

Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli occupation forces detained several young men near the National Hospital and stormed Al-Hajj Nimer Mosque in the Old City. Several educational institutions, including the Directorate of Education, An-Najah University, and Nablus Municipality, announced the suspension of classes due to the security tension.

These developments come amid ongoing escalation across cities and towns in the West Bank, marked by raids, arrests, and attacks on residents. Palestinian data indicate that since 7 October 2023, Israeli forces and settlers' attacks resulted in 1,076 Palestinians martyred, around 10,760 injured, and more than 20,500 arrested.
