Riyadh: The main Saudi stock index closed Thursday up 11.96 points, reaching 11,010.63 points, with trading valued at SR 3.1 billion.

According to Qatar News Agency, the number of shares traded during the session reached 132 million, with 147 companies recording gains and 93 companies seeing their shares decline.

Meanwhile, the parallel Saudi stock index (Nomu) closed up 179.41 points, reaching 24,071.88 points, with trading valued at SR 51 million and the number of shares traded exceeding 8 million.
