Barcelona: Spanish club FC Barcelona announced today that it has officially signed English striker Marcus Rashford from Manchester United on a one-season loan deal.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement posted on its official X account, Barcelona said that the English forward has joined the club for one season under an agreement with Manchester United, which includes an option for Barcelona to purchase the player's contract at the end of the loan period in the summer of 2026.

Barcelona, the reigning La Liga champion, will kick off its new season on Aug. 16 with a match against Real Mallorca in the opening round of the competition.
