Chantilly: The filly Ankara, owned and bred by Al Shaqab Racing, continued her impressive streak of victories by securing her second consecutive win in just her second appearance, showcasing her emerging talent and strong performance.
According to Qatar News Agency, this time, the win came in the Chantilly Prize race for 3-year-old purebred horses, Group II, held over a distance of 2,650 meters at the Chateau Brion racecourse in France. The race was overseen by trainer Henri-Fran§ois Devin and jockey Alexis Pouchin, who also rode her in her debut.
Ankara delivered a fluid and striking performance throughout the race, maintaining solid control to the finish line, clinching victory in a style that highlights her development and readiness for upcoming challenges. Finishing second was the filly North Shore, trained by Ludovic Gadbin and ridden by jockey Theo Bachelot, trailing by two lengths behind the winner. In third place came Karisha, trained by Mario Delcher Sanchez and ridden by jockey Maxime Guyon.
