Chinese, Indian Foreign Ministers Stress Importance of Joint Cooperation, Avoiding Disputes

Beijing: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has stressed the importance of enhancing mutual understanding and support with India and working to avoid disputes. Wang noted during his meeting Monday with Indian Foreign Minister Vikram Misri in the capital, Beijing, that since the leaders of the two countries met last year, the two sides have worked to accelerate the process of improving relations between China and India.

According to Qatar News Agency, Misri said that the two sides have worked to manage differences, which helped resume cooperation in various fields. India announced Monday an agreement with China to resume direct flights between them after nearly five years of suspension due to the Corona pandemic and subsequent political tensions.
