The newspaper emphasized the significance of leadership visits and high-level official exchanges aimed at bolstering these ties and reinforcing the brotherhood between the countries.
According to Qatar News Agency, Al-Watan further elaborated on the shared visions of Qatar and Oman on regional and international affairs, which have been instrumental in fortifying their relationship. The countries are committed to supporting initiatives that promote unity within the Gulf region and the broader Arab world. The newspaper concluded by referencing the upcoming visit of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to Oman, where discussions with HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq will focus on enhancing bilateral relations and addressing common concerns.
Meanwhile, Al-Sharq newspaper reported on the launch of Qatar's strategy for the charitable and humanitarian sector for 2025-2030, along with the Domestic Aids Portal "SANADY". Described as a strategic roadmap, SANADY aims to optimize resources and partnerships within the charitable sector to achieve significant impact both locally and globally. The platform ensures justice in aid distribution and promotes governance, transparency, and integration among relevant entities.
The strategy was unveiled by HE Minister of Social Development and Family, Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, alongside ministers and representatives of national institutions. Al-Sharq highlighted this initiative as a testament to Qatar's dedication to advancing its charitable and humanitarian efforts, marking a pivotal moment in the nation's history of philanthropy. The strategy underscores Qatar's leadership in charitable, humanitarian, and development work on multiple levels.
On another note, The Peninsula, an English-language newspaper, confirmed Qatar's esteemed global reputation as a neutral and reliable mediator. This role is rooted in Article 7 of Qatar's Constitution, which prioritizes mediation as a core aspect of its foreign policy. Since 2004, Qatar has successfully mediated various international disputes, including brokering the recent Gaza ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. Additionally, Qatar's contributions to reuniting Ukrainian children affected by the conflict with Russia were acknowledged by HE President Volodymyr Zelensky during a meeting with Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
