Gaza: Nine Palestinians were martyred and several others wounded on Monday as a result of continued Israeli shelling of several areas across the Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, five Palestinians were martyred and several were injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a displacement tent in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, two Palestinians were martyred and several others wounded in an Israeli drone strike on Al-Nazla Roundabout in Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip.

In the central Gaza Strip, two civilians were martyred as a result of ongoing Israeli shelling south of Deir al-Balah.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 2023 has so far resulted in the killing of 58,895 Palestinians, the majority of whom are children and women, with 140,980 others injured.
