64 Palestinians Martyred Since Dawn Amid Ongoing Israeli Occupation Assault on Gaza Strip

Gaza city: At least 64 Palestinians have been martyred since dawn Wednesday as a result of Israeli air and artillery strikes across the Gaza Strip. Medical sources reported that among the dead there are 19 people who were waiting for humanitarian aid. An airstrike in northeast of Gaza City killed a mother and her child, according to the same sources.

According to Qatar News Agency, medical teams also rescued 12 injured individuals after an Israeli strike on the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood. Rescue operations are still ongoing to recover additional bodies and wounded from the scene.

The death toll from Israel's ongoing assault on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, has now risen to 62,122, with 156,758 injured, the majority of whom are women and children. Israeli occupation forces resumed aggression on Gaza after violating the ceasefire agreement on March 18, following a two-month pause. The attacks have focused on various areas of the Gaza Strip, which is already suffering from an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe after 22 months of war.
