Doha: An earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale struck off the coast of Indonesia. The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported that the earthquake occurred at 20:50 UTC, about 113 km southwest of the city of Gorontalo, at a depth of 140 km below the Earth's surface.
According to Qatar News Agency, there have been no reports of casualties or material damage so far, and no tsunami warning has been issued as a result of the earthquake.
