30 Qatari Students Participate in First Summer Holy Quran Memorization Course at Al Noor Quranic Educational Centre

Doha: 30 outstanding Qatari students have participated in the first summer course launched by the Al Noor Quranic Educational Centre, affiliated with the Department of Da'wa and Religious Guidance at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs. The course aims to enhance the level of the Holy Quran memorization and develop participants' educational and academic skills during the summer vacation.

According to Qatar News Agency, the three-week course focuses on intensive Holy Quran memorization, with each student memorizing two pages per day, along with daily review of previously memorized Qurans. This course is part of an integrated educational program that encompasses Quranic concepts, practical worship, vocal skills, sports activities, and recreational and educational trips.

The program also features courses in various fields, including cybersecurity, as well as chanting sessions and training on performing the call to prayer. This helps hone participants' skills and instill Islamic and moral values within an interactive educational environment.

This course is part of the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs' efforts, represented by the Department of Da'wah and Religious Guidance, to utilize the summer vacation to offer quality programs aimed at building a generation aware of its religious and moral values, and qualified to perform the duties of imams, preachers, and religious guidance in the future.

A number of participating students expressed their satisfaction with the opportunities the course provided to enhance their memorization and review of the Holy Quran and learn new skills. They praised the Ministry's significant role in organizing such quality courses during the summer vacation.
