Kyiv: One person was killed and 11 others were injured in a Russian drone attack on the outskirts of the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, the regional governor said on Sunday.
According to Qatar News Agency, Kyiv Regional Governor Mykola Kalashnyk stated in a post on Telegram that Russia had launched another drone attack. He added that rescuers were in the process of evacuating residents from a high-rise building while firefighting operations were ongoing.
Kalashnyk reported, "Unfortunately, as a result of the enemy attack on Vyshgorod, one person was killed and 11 others were wounded, including one child," in his Telegram post.
The recent attack comes after a previous Russian drone and missile assault on Friday night, which resulted in the deaths of three people and left hundreds of thousands across Ukraine without electricity.
