Hebron: The Israeli occupation forces on Sunday stepped up detention operations against the Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem. The move is part of the offensive campaign they have been launching since Oct. 7, 2023.
According to Qatar News Agency, in Hebron Governorate, the occupation forces detained three released Palestinian prisoners from Sa'ir town after storming it and inspecting homes. Several Palestinians were also pursued at the entry to Idhna town, with a young man being detained at a military barricade.
The occupation forces further arrested three Palestinians from Deir Abu Mash'al and Kafr Ni'ma in Ramallah Governorate after breaking into their homes.
In the occupied city of Jerusalem, the forces detained a young Palestinian man from the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood after an incident at the neighborhood's western entrance. Additionally, a Palestinian was arrested in the Old City of Nablus Governorate during an operation by a special military unit, which included a raid with several military jeeps and the use of gas flashbangs.
