Gaza: The number of victims of the Israeli occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has reached 58,895 martyrs and 140,980 injured.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Health in Gaza stated Sunday that hospitals in the Strip have received 130 martyrs (including two whose bodies were recovered) and 495 injured during the past 24 hours. A number of victims are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads, where ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them, the Ministry added.
The report further noted that the death toll and injuries since March 18 until Sunday have risen to 8,066 martyrs and 28,939 injured. The Ministry also reported that hospitals in the Strip received 31 martyrs and 107 injured over the past 24 hours from humanitarian aid incidents, bringing the total number of victims while seeking aid to 922 martyrs and over 5,861 injured.
The Gaza Strip continues to face ongoing Israeli aggression since October 2023, which has resulted in widespread destruction and mass internal displacement of the population, amid growing international warnings of a worsening humanitarian crisis and clear signs of famine threatening the lives of thousands of Palestinians.
