Kyiv: Ukraine has received the bodies and remains of 1,000 soldiers from Russia under previously signed agreements, Ukrainian authorities announced on Tuesday. The Ukrainian government agency responsible for coordinating these operations emphasized the importance of this development.
According to Qatar News Agency, the government agency shared on social media that among the returned bodies were the remains of five Ukrainian service members who lost their lives while in custody. The agency stated that the authorities will conduct tests to identify the bodies, which were returned from areas in Eastern Ukraine and Russia's Kursk region.
