Doha: UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, held a phone call with his US counterpart Marco Rubio. The discussion focused on ways to enhance bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and the United States.

According to Qatar News Agency, the conversation also covered recent regional developments. Key among these was the discussion on Iranian missile attacks targeting the UAE and other countries in the region. The ministers examined the implications of these attacks on international peace and security, as well as their potential effects on energy supplies, maritime security, and global economic stability.
