Beirut: The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced Sunday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression against Lebanon since March 2 has risen to 2,509 dead, in addition to 7,755 injured.

According to Qatar News Agency, the ministry's Health Emergency Operations Center reported that the total toll of the aggression had reached 2,509 dead and 7,755 injured. The report highlighted that the outskirts of the town of Shama were subjected to a number of artillery shells, coinciding with the shelling of the town of Zawtar and Yahmar Al Shaqif.

The Israeli entity continues its attacks on southern Lebanon, violating the truce that began on April 16. Initially set for ten days, the truce was extended at midnight last night for an additional three weeks.
