Abu dhabi: HH UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan engaged in a phone conversation on Monday to explore avenues for enhancing bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and Turkey. The dialogue underscored the commitment of both nations to strengthen their diplomatic and economic ties.
According to Qatar News Agency, the leaders also delved into regional and international issues, placing a significant emphasis on the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. They highlighted the importance of maintaining the ceasefire, ensuring the continuous delivery of humanitarian aid, and reducing the suffering of civilians caught in the conflict.
The conversation also included an exchange of views on other mutual interests and the ongoing efforts to address these matters, showcasing a collaborative approach to tackling shared challenges.
