Abu dhabi: HH President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them in various fields, in a phone call Wednesday with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer. During the call, the two sides also discussed and exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues, most notably developments in the Middle East.
According to Qatar News Agency, Sheikh Mohamed and Prime Minister Starmer affirmed their support for all efforts and initiatives aimed at achieving a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. They emphasized the importance of ensuring sufficient and sustainable access for humanitarian aid to the population in the region.
The conversation highlighted the commitment of both nations to collaborate on addressing pressing global challenges. The leaders reiterated their dedication to strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest, aiming for positive impacts on both regional and international levels.
