It added that the towns of Bint Jbeil and Haris, along with several surrounding areas, came under heavy Israeli artillery shelling, while warplanes carried out two airstrikes targeting the towns of Zawtar al-Sharqiya and Jbaa in the Nabatieh district.

Lebanon's Ministry of Public Health earlier said the death toll from Israeli airstrikes on Tyre and surrounding areas had risen to four, with eight others wounded.
