Doha: Two women were killed Thursday in a Ruian airstrike targeting eastern Ukraine.

According to Qatar News Agency, local sources reported that two women were killed in the Ruian attack that targeted the Donetsk region in the east of the country.

Moscow has intensified its drone and missile attacks on parts of Ukraine, more than three years after the start of its military operation, at a time when the two sides of the conflict are holding direct negotiations in Istanbul, Turkiye, to discuss a ceasefire.
