Two People Injured in New Israeli Strike on Southern Lebanon

Naqoura: Two people were injured on Tuesday in a new Israeli drone strike on southern Lebanon.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Public Health Emergency Operation Center of the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that an Israeli drone strike targeted the town of Naqoura, leaving two people wounded in an initial toll, one of them critically.

A ceasefire agreement in Lebanon came into effect on Nov. 27, 2025, stipulating the withdrawal of Israeli forces from southern border villages and towns within 60 days. The Lebanese government later agreed to extend the deadline until Feb. 18, 2026; however, Israeli forces have remained stationed at five positions and continue to carry out violations.
