Gaza city: Two Palestinians were martyred and several others injured on Thursday in an Israeli occupation airstrike targeting eastern Gaza City.

According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources at Al-Ahli Arab Hospital reported that two people were martyred and several others were wounded after Israeli aircraft struck a group of individuals near Al-Mahatta Park in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City.

Ambulance crews transferred the bodies of the two victims along with the injured to the hospital, the sources added.

The death toll from the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,082, with 171,761 people injured since Oct. 7, 2023.
