Gaza city: Two Palestinians were martyred and others injured on Monday as Israeli occupation forces targeted civilians waiting for aid in southern Gaza City.
According to Qatar News Agency, the occupation forces opened fire on a group of people waiting for humanitarian assistance, resulting in the death of two individuals and injuries to several others.
Medical sources in Gaza reported that on Sunday alone, 94 people waiting for aid were killed, bringing the total number of victims of these death trap incidents since May 27, to 995 martyrs and 6,011 injured, in addition to 45 missing persons.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which began on Oct. 7, 2023, has so far resulted in the martyrdom of 58,895 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children, and 140,980 injured, according to provisional figures. Many victims remain under the rubble or in the streets, unreachable by rescue and ambulance teams.
