Beirut: Two have been killed and 11 others injured in an Israeli airstrike on the southern suburb of Beirut.

According to Qatar News Agency, field sources reported that the airstrike, which targeted two apartments in the Mreijeh-Hawta Al-Ghadir area of the southern suburbs, resulted in the deaths of two people and injuries to 11 others, according to initial reports.

The United States announced last Thursday that Israel and Lebanon had reached a ceasefire agreement following the conclusion of the second and final day of the fourth round of negotiations between the two sides in Washington. However, this agreement has yet to be implemented.
