Doha: Two Turkish analysts and media personnel confirmed that relations between the State of Qatar and Turkiye have made great progress across all fields, with an increase in the frequency of high-level official visits between the two countries. According to Qatar News Agency, they emphasized that the convening of the Turkish-Qatari Supreme Strategic Committee will contribute significantly to advancing cooperation relations between the two countries while opening up to new areas of cooperation. They pointed out that the committee is being held in extremely important circumstances in the region, and therefore its agenda is expected to be full of many important issues and files. Turkish political analyst and Editor-in-Chief of Ulke TV news channel Hasan Ozturk said that Turkish-Qatari relations have gained great momentum through mutual visits between the leaderships of the two countries in recent years and the agreements signed between the two sides. He added that the boom in Turkish-Qatari relations has con tributed to achieving the supreme interests of both sides, on the political, economic, and defense levels, which has led to several important results, particularly the meeting of the Qatari-Turkish Supreme Strategic Committee, which is considered an opportunity to strengthen relations between the two countries. Ozturk described the bilateral relations between the two countries as "strong and advanced," expecting that they would witness positive development during the next stage in terms of enhancing strategic cooperation between the two countries, which would be reflected in the regional partnership and mutual understanding on regional and international issues, especially the Palestinian issue and joint coordination to stop the war of extermination in the Gaza Strip. The Turkish political analyst indicated that Turkiye and Qatar are two major powers with clear influence in the Middle East, and they share a strong friendship and cooperation in various fields. Their clear cooperation has emerged in bilateral, Arab, and international fields through consultation and understanding. Ozturk concluded by saying that the Turkish motives in its relationship with Qatar reflected the extent to which the Turkish decision-maker was aware of the uniqueness and importance of this relationship, and the necessity of its distinction for political and economic considerations. In turn, Turkish media personnel and Chief Editor of Turkiye Newspaper Ismail Kapan said that Turkish-Qatari relations have witnessed great momentum in recent years, as their goal was to strengthen relations in all fields and push them forward. Kapan stressed that Turkish-Qatari relations are strong and distinguished, adding that the State of Qatar and Turkiye are two important parties in the region and have the ability to contribute to supporting the issues of the Islamic world, in an era characterized by various transformations imposed by the nature of political and economic developments, and the new data they produce. He indicated that relations between the two countries in the coming period will witness a qualitative shift and a great rebound at all levels, which will benefit all regional countries. He believed that Qatari-Turkish relations enjoy a significant distinction because they are based on continuous cooperation and development, especially in the political and economic fields.
