Doha: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Iranian counterpart, Mesoud Pezeshkian, deliberated on Israel’s attacks on Iran, in addition to a number of regional and global issues, in a phone call held on Saturday. During the call, the Turkish President strongly condemned Israel illegal attacks on Iran, adding that Israel is seeking to ignite the whole region and attempting to distract the international community from the genocide in Gaza by attacking Iran.
According to Qatar News Agency, the conversation between the two leaders highlighted the ongoing tensions in the region, with both presidents expressing concerns over the potential escalation of conflict. The leaders also discussed the broader implications of Israel’s actions and emphasized the need for a unified regional response to address the challenges posed by such attacks.
