Iraqi and German Foreign Ministers Address Middle East Tensions Over Phone

Doha: Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein discussed the latest developments in the Middle East and the security challenges facing the region, particularly in light of the recent regional escalation, with German Minister for Foreign Affairs Johann Wadephul on Saturday: In a phone call, the two ministers exchanged views and information on the current situation, as the Iraqi Foreign Minister warned of a significant increase in oil prices due to the dangerous military escalation as a result of the Israeli attack on Iranian territory yesterday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the German Foreign Minister affirmed his country’s commitment to supporting Iraq’s security and stability, emphasizing the importance of keeping Iraq away from any military confrontations or potential repercussions of the conflict.
