Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone call on Wednesday with French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss bilateral relations, the Russian-Ukrainian war, and other regional and international issues, including recent developments in Gaza, Syria, and the Caucasus.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the call, Erdogan emphasized Turkiye's efforts to revive the Istanbul track aimed at halting the war between Russia and Ukraine and achieving a just and lasting peace. He noted that Ankara has engaged in a series of contacts with international partners to advance this process as soon as possible.
