Doha: HE Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia to the State of Qatar, Farhad Khalif, emphasized that the celebration of Qatar's National Day is a significant event for the Qatari people, marking a time to honor the sacrifices of their ancestors in establishing the state and strengthening its unity.

According to Qatar News Agency, His Excellency noted that the National Day instills the importance of maintaining Qatari identity and national unity in present and future generations, while continuing the development path initiated by the nation's founders. The day is seen as a milestone in Qatar's history, serving as a foundation for the modern state.

He extended his congratulations to HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and the Qatari people. The Tunisian Envoy commended Qatar's comprehensive development under the Qatar National Vision 2030, attributing the nation's prosperity to meticulous planning and commitment to public welfare.

The ambassador highlighted Qatar's advancements in infrastructure, sports, culture, health, and education, which are pivotal for fostering economic and human development. He praised Qatar's management of its oil and gas resources, emphasizing its role in achieving comprehensive growth.

The envoy also lauded Qatar's active foreign policy and its role in global mediation, particularly in the Middle East. He acknowledged Qatar's efforts in mediating conflicts, such as the war in Gaza, and its ongoing commitment to peace and stability.

Discussing Qatar-Tunisia relations, he highlighted the strong ties and cooperation between the nations across various sectors.
